Oh my god the scene, where Sherlock apologizes. Taking my slash goggles off for a bit, that was just so wonderful and heartwarming. I loved Sherlock actually making the attempt and fairly soon, because he couldn't stand John to be mad at him. They really are the bestest friends and they need each other so much. Also they understand each other, because even though most people would be really pissed if Sherlock had done to them what he did to John (the whole drugging the coffee thing), but while John is mad, he doesn't really dwell on it. That's who Sherlock is and John understands that.

Also I love Gatiss for tying in a lot of the little stuff to the little stuff last week, like the Cluedo board, because that is such a love declaration to us crazy fandom fans, who notice these things and obsess abou them.

The end was terrifying on so many levels O___O Jim Moriarty you are one broken crazy motherfucker
